Kathy Tait

Kathy Tait is a former special education and regular education teacher, and did drug awareness and preventing programs at the elementary level.  She has been a psychotherapist since 1992, specializing in marital and relational concerns, mood and anxiety disorders and grief and loss issues.  Kathy has a compassion for people and believes in her clients’ ability to make choices that will empower themselves to be able to lead fuller, healthier, and happier lives. 

Kathy Tait has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor for fourteen years - after leaving the field of education - and she is certified in Reality Therapy.  Her areas of expertise include marital and relational problems, depression, anxiety and panic disorders, obsessive-compulsive struggles, grief and loss, and substance abuse.  When she's not counseling, she enjoys time to spend on her art work, traveling with her husband, and being with their adult sons.
